Mary Cataudella, FACHE, MA, PHR, EMT
Ms. Cataudella currently serves as the Chief Human Resource Officer for Jersey City Medical Center – RWJBarnabas Health and the Interim Chief Human Resource Office for the System’s Medical Group. Prior, Ms. Cataudella was Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York for eight years. She began her career in Human Resources as the Director of Human Resources for St. Vincent’s Midtown Hospital, formerly St. Clare’s Hospital and Health Center, in New York City.
Ms. Cataudella received a Bachelor’s of Science from Brooklyn College, graduating Cum Laude, and two years later received her Masters of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, also from Brooklyn College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In February 2022, Ms. Cataudella achieved fellowship status in the American College of Healthcare Executives and in January 2013, earned her New Jersey State Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. In March 2010, she received her Green Belt Certification and in June 2004, her “Professional in Human Resources” certification and formerly served as the Certification Chairperson for the Gateway Society for Human Resources Management Professionals. Ms. Cataudella also served as the Secretary for the Metropolitan Human Resources Administrators’ Association in Northern New Jersey.
Ms. Cataudella is a volunteer EMT for the Marlboro First Aid Squad with past leadership roles of Crew Chief, Chair of the Fundraising Committee and Vice President. Mary also serves as a frequent presenter for Hudson County Community College students and serves on the RWJBarnabas Health Women’s Leadership Alliance, a group that support future leaders seeking career growth opportunities within the RWJBH System.
Ms. Cataudella enjoys public speaking and has lectured on a variety of topics at professional conferences and colleges. She was honored in 2018 with District 1199J David Memorial Scholarship Fund Award for Outstanding Labor Relations.
