Staffing a medical practice is challenging with competition from other medical practices, rising expenses, increasing costs for labor, a growing desire (expectation) to work from home, and the lingering effects of the pandemic. It is important to retain and prepare new employees for success. . RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group developed a “hands-on” training program to enhance learning and employee and patient confidence, ensure safe, consistent practice, increase employee engagement and reduce turnover. In this session, speakers will share their experience of creating regional “training academies” which offer a consistent and standardized approach for training current employees and providing an opportunity for career advancement.
