Hello, my name is David Ortiz and I've been in the Sales/Customer Service space since 1998.
I started my career in the medical software space back in 2014 after serving Best Buy from 2002 to 2014 within various roles from merchandising, to sales and ultimately leadership. Within those years, I’ve led several teams to regional and district success with a strong emphasis on coaching and training.
Since then, I grew in the ranks at CollaborateMD starting with a support role where I was able to learn the business and understand how rejections, denials, and payer enrollments can ultimately lead to a medical practice's downfall. I’ve used that experience in my sales and how to effectively answer those types of questions during the onboarding process. After my 2 year stint in Support, I was brought over to our CRXM team which is more of a customer analytics role where I was able to analyze a customer’s account after they were sold to see how their account is fairing after implementation. I would run reporting and dashboards within the application to see where they stand on all pressing metrics. After CRXM I lead our accounting department and I would also process service requests.
Within the Account Executive role, I’ve used everything that I’ve learned over the years here at CollaborateMD to perfect my demo and to answer any questions that are sent my way to ensure the success of the client and the company.
